After the budget committee of Lower Saxony has given the green light on 13.06.2007, Lower Saxonys Ministry of Finance has awarded a contract to construct a new building of a Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering on 21.06.2007. Hereby, the last stage of the licensing procedure is passed though and now all craft will be announced Europe-wide soon.
With the planed scientific new building, containing labs (435 sqm), a scientific clean room (409 sqm) and work rooms for science (509 sqm) for about 44 persons, new and excellent possibilities for the involved scientists are opened. For start of construction works is September 2007 tended. The time for construction likely takes 18 months, so that the scientific center can be obtained in spring/summer 2009.
