Prof. Dr. Nadja Bigall

LNQE-member appointed for the professorship of "Functional Nanostructures"

On 1 October 2017, Dr. Nadja Bigall has been appointed to the W2 professorship "Functional Nanostructures" at the Institute for Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry at the Leibniz Universität Hannover.

The focus of her work group is the production of form-controlled nanocrystals and their assembly into functional materials with tailor-made optical, electrical, magnetic and catalytic properties.

Outstanding successes in her previous academic career has been the establishment of a BMBF junior research group in the NanMatFutur competition in 2013 and the acquisition of an ERC starting grant 2017.

Congratulations from the LNQE!
