General meeting of the LNQE 2007

Summary of LNQE activities of the year 2007.

On Wednesday 05.12.2007 the general meeting of the LNQE 2007 took place. The most important agenda items were in brief:

Report of the executive board: Prof. Rolf Haug (Speaker of the Executive Board) informed over the events of the year 2007. Major topics:
- LNQE-building and proposal to Wissenschaftsrat.
- Evaluation LNQE
- LNQE "on the Road"
- NanoDay 2007
- Study course "Nanotechnology"
Preliminary financial report/ determination of the membership fee 2007: The general meeting has set the membership fee for 2007 at 2000 Euro.
Planned third-party funds projects: Various planned projects were presented:
- Planned Collaborative Research Centre NanoProd / Dr. Fritz Schulze Wischeler
- Nano-Storage / Prof. Dr. Jürgen Caro
- Nano-Engineering / Prof. Dr. -Ing. Hans-Heinrich Gatzen
- NANOMA (Nanos in Matrix) / Prof. Dr. H. Jörg Osten
From January on we will invited to meetings to develop these ideas and generate larger, cooperative proposals out of it.
