The Institute for Microproduction Technology has been awarded the Ilse ter Meer Prize. The Ilse ter Meer Prize honours projects and initiatives in the fields of equal opportunities, diversity and family service.
Selina Raumel, Marc Christopher Wurz and Rico Ottermann from the Institute of Microproduction Technology have been organising the annual "Girls and Technology Day (MuT)" for over ten years. At the project day, schoolgirls gain insights into the technical subjects of study by actively participating in the practical work of mechanical engineering - and with great success. In 2019, there were 200 participants; registration for this year''s MuT on 09.11.2020 is already underway at www.maedchen-und-technik.de
Congratulations from the LNQE!
