The NMN e. V. is a nanotechnology network with support of the Lower Saxony Ministry for Economics, Labour , and Transport along the value chain and brings research, SME, industry, and finance together. The aim of the registered association is the support of science and research, in particularly though development and use of nano and materials innovations in Lower Saxony
- for optimization of the high-tech-base of Lower Saxony,
- for strengthening of Lower Saxony's R & D and economy landscape
- for creating and saving jobs.
By the membership of the LNQE as a nanotechnology cluster of the Leibniz Universität Hannover various synergetic effects result. In particularly:
- Exchange of information between all members of the association,
- Increased public representation,
- Networking to SME and industry,
- Placement of industrial traing for students of the new study course nanotechnology at Leibniz Universität Hannover.
