Professor Blume designs highly integrated microelectronic circuits

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Holger Blume heads the Architectures and Systems Group at the Institute for Microelectronic Systems at Leibniz University Hannover.

His present research includes algorithms and heterogeneous architectures for digital signal processing, design space exploration for such architectures as well as research on the corresponding modeling techniques. Main application fields for such architectures are medical electronics, driver assistance systems and multimedia signal processing. For the realization of such applications regularly real time capable rapid prototyping systems are applied at the institute.
