Russian-German Workshop

Meeting on "Solar Fuel Generation" in Hannover

The fourth German-Russian Workshop "Solar Fuel Generation " took place from November 28, 2016 to November 30, 2016 in the Laboratory of Nano- and Quantum Engineering (LNQE) of the Leibniz Universität Hannover. The international workshop was organized by Prof. Dr. Detlef Bahnemann, head of the "Photocatalysis and Nanotechnology" working group at the Institute of Technical Chemistry at the Leibniz University.

Thirty scientists from the National University of Saint-Petersburg, Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Max Planck Institute for Structure and Dynamics of Matter in Hamburg, the University of Arkansas in USA, the National University of Uberlandia in Brazil, the National University of Mar del Plata in Argentina, and the Leibniz Universität Hanover discussed the latest research results in the field of nanotechnology and photocatalysis. The development of potential nanomaterials for photocatalytic hydrogen generation and photocatalytic pollutant degradation was dealt with.
