SommerUNI was a guest at the Laboratory for Nano and Quantum Engineering and informed itself about nanotechnology. A lecture about nanotechnology and the study possibilities at the LUH was presented and afterwards current research topics were highlighted in four stations: Sensors, photocatalysis, nanoparticles and transmission electron microscopy. Many thanks to Christoph, Carsten, Pascal and Anja at the stations and to the Nanotechnology Student Council, which again supported us.
The SommerUNI is a special offer for girls in the 10th to 13th grade who are interested in studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
