Professor Caro Receives Guest Professorships in China

Member of the LNQE expands partnerships to membrane research

Appointment as Guest Professor and Part-time Professor of LNQE-member Prof. Jürgen Caro from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, at the Dalian University of Technology and Panjin University of Technology, China, in the Field Membrane Research

Membrane separation technology of gases and liquids is considered a key technology of a modern economy since membrane separation is an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technology with low energy input and without waste. Increasingly powerful new membranes explore new applications like purification of natural gas, separation of air into oxygen and nitrogen, production of hydrogen for green technologies, processing of bio-fuels and chemicals in bio-refineries.

The Chinese and German scientists Prof. Gaohong He and Professor Jieshan Qui from Dalian Technical University, and Prof. Juergen Caro from Leibniz University Hannover play a worldwide pioneering role in membrane research and technology..

Appointment ceremony at the Dalian University of Technology: Vice President Prof. Guiling Ning, Professor in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, passes the certificate.

Appointment ceremony at Panji University: The Dean of the School of Petroleum Chemical Engineering, Prof. Gaohong He, passes the appointment letter.
